What You Get: 7-Quart and 2-Quart Slow Cookers

The bundle includes:

7-quart oval manual slow cooker: Large enough for family-sized meals, batch cooking, roasts, stews, and soups2-quart round manual slow cooker: Sized for side dishes, dips, small portions, and singles or couplesManual controls on both models: HIGH and LOW cooking settings plus a WARM function

Both are basic, budget-friendly Crock-Pot models without programmable timers or automation features. What you gain in simplicity and affordability, you trade in advanced functionality.

The Case for Having Two Slow Cooker Sizes

Owning two slow cookers in different capacities solves real kitchen problems. The 7-quart model handles big jobs: pulled pork for a crowd, chili for the week, or a pot roast with vegetables. The 2-quart model tackles smaller tasks that would get lost in a large cooker: queso dip for game day, a side of mac and cheese, or dinner for one.

Running both at once means you can prepare complete meals without timing gymnastics. Start a main dish in the 7-quart in the morning, add a side to the 2-quart a few hours later, and come home to a ready-to-serve dinner. For meal preppers, you can batch-cook a protein in one and a grain or vegetable in the other, then portion everything out for the week.

The 7-quart size is overkill for small households cooking daily dinners, but the 2-quart picks up that slack. The 2-quart is too small for entertaining, but the 7-quart steps in. Together, they cover more ground than a single mid-sized cooker ever could.

Real-World Cooking Scenarios: How to Use Both Together

Here's how the dual-size setup works in practice:

Sunday meal prep: Cook a whole chicken or beef roast in the 7-quart while simmering beans or rice in the 2-quart. Portion and refrigerate for weekday lunches.Entertaining: Serve chili or pulled pork from the 7-quart while keeping queso, BBQ meatballs, or spinach dip warm in the 2-quart.Complete family dinners: Make a pot roast with carrots and potatoes in the 7-quart, and a side of baked beans or soup in the 2-quart.Small household flexibility: Use the 2-quart for everyday cooking, and pull out the 7-quart only when you're batch cooking or have guests.Potluck contributions: Transport two different dishes to gatherings, keeping both warm until serving time.

The manual controls mean you'll need to plan your timing and turn the cookers off yourself, but for straightforward recipes, that's rarely a problem.

Manual Controls: Simpler Than You Think

Both slow cookers feature manual dial controls with HIGH, LOW, and WARM settings. There's no digital display, no timer that switches to warm automatically, and no app to connect. For some cooks, that's a drawback. For others, it's a relief.

Manual models are intuitive: turn the dial to LOW for 6-8 hours of slow cooking, or HIGH for 3-4 hours if you're in a hurry. When your food is done, switch to WARM to hold it at serving temperature. You'll need to monitor the time yourself or use a separate kitchen timer, but the simplicity means fewer parts to break and no learning curve.

If you rely on set-it-and-forget-it automation or need to start cooking while you're away for 10+ hours, programmable models are a better fit. But if you're home to turn the dial when dinner's ready, manual controls work just fine.

What Reviewers Say About These Models

The 7-quart oval manual slow cooker was named a best budget pick by Food Network, praised for its extremely affordable price, simple dial, and large capacity. Reviewers note that while it's very basic, it handles family meals and batch cooking well. Customers appreciate the 2-quart model's size, cookability, and value, with positive ratings across retail platforms.

Common feedback highlights the large capacity of the 7-quart for making meals tender and flavorful, and the 2-quart's usefulness for side dishes and small households. Some users report occasional durability or temperature-consistency issues with basic manual models, but overall impressions are positive for the price.
